May 2008 Archives

In one of my many lives, I am a Script Doctor -- but I call myself a Script Professor because I think that editorial and writing process should be evolutionary and not surgical if you really want to provide an everlasting value for the money spent.

There is nothing worse for a writer than an Author Review that never ends. The fingers crumble.  The mind withers.  The eye explodes.

My new book is here; your time to buy is now! Picture Yourself Learning Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is your fresh guide to finding all the best new stuff packed into Office for Mac 2008!

The Three-Toothed Monster

Today, I will share with you an everyday horror story: "The Three-Toothed Monster."

As an author, you must always write your own way, but you must also arouse the mercy of your readers in order to create evergreen True Art.

I have worked as a freelance author, artist and performer for my entire adult life.  I support honest freelancers that share the same work ethic and morality.  I believe in set project prices.  I do not believe in gouging people with an invented hourly rate that suddenly appears when the bill arrives.

The days of the static, semantic, classroom are over.  Now, with the rise of real-time video, teaching and learning becomes dynamic, semaphoric, changeable and semiotically recordable for the eternity of history.

Is Art Subjective?

Is Art subjective or universal?  Is this image of the living, human, form found prone on the floor an indicator or eroticism, abuse or something else?

The nature of the producer is to provide money for a creative project and manage the schedule for getting things done.  The best producers are invisible.  The producer's essence is felt, but their being fades into the background to support the vision of others.

It is human nature to press ahead and chase what we can never catch.  For all of human existence we have been obsessed with the horizon and what riches and wonders wait for us just beyond the ken of its bend.
