Hosea the Hosebag Wins Top Chef

Hosea "The Hosebag" won Top Chef Five last night on Bravo and I can't remember a more dislikable person winning the whole thing in any previous season -- we came close with that awful red-haired witch almost winning it all, but that's another rant for another day.  Throughout this season's competition, Hosea was Too Hot for co-cooker contestant Leah, and when they "only kissed" we knew something more happened because neither Hosea nor Leah could look each other in the eye after that "kiss" and their relationship was never the same again. Both Leah and Hosea had betrothed their hearts to others before the competition. Sorry, but I don't feel like rooting for a Hosebag Cheater as my Top Chef.

The Silly SuperPoke Pets Review

UPDATE April 23, 2009:  After getting an inappropriate comment on this article from Slide this morning, my wife and I have decided to no longer play that game.  We're over them.  Any links to our SuperPoke Pets sites are no longer active and should be considered dead.  Why should we pay for that sort of attitude from a company?  We're voting with our money and the answer is: "No thank you."

I am addicted to SuperPoke Pets on Facebook!  Bonky, a monkey, is my adopted SuperPoke Pet and he's currently living in a cornfield in space!

Google Gears Goes Offline

Google are making many surprise moves early in 2009 and I love them all.  The latest Google gift is the ability to use Google Gears to work offline with Gmail and your Google Calendar.  Google Gears worked up offline access for Docs last year and now, as you can see below on my Mac Desktop, I have direct access my mail, sked and workload 24/7/365 and I could not be happier.

The Residue of Founding Intention

In my professional work as a script doctor at ScriptProfessor.com, I am always struck numb by those that believe anyone can write and that everyone can fix a dramatic work.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.  Understanding how to make a script work is a tough task that few people in the world really understand and even fewer are able to perform at any price.
