Catching the Google Wave Haiku

Google announced — Wave — yesterday, a new online collaboration meme that blends email, maps, documents and social networking into one workspace.  Is Wave Google’s Basecamp killer that will finally make Google Apps a complete and total winner?

You can sign up for early Wave notification.

As part of the Google Culture of Fun and Belonging — you can try to treat and amaze those at the Google Empire with your creative writing skilz — and maybe, just mebbe, they’ll let you into Wave just a little earlier than the more prosaic.

Here is the Google Wave Haiku entry I submitted:

Springtime awakens
Wave crashes in earthen core
Winter waives the ice

We’re holding thumbs we still have the magic touch!

I’m looking forward to giving it a try! :)

  2. Me, too, Gordon! I hope Wave will be a much better way to collaborate than the awful Sites experiment. Sites was a great idea that was poorly implemented.
